General questions
How much does photo and video by WOWGO cost in Cancún?
These are prices for the photo and video line (WHITE PHOTO); yachts, cars, scooters and tours are quoted separately. A vacation rental or Airbnb photo session starts at about $150 USD; drone flights at $200 USD; yacht coverage at $300 USD; quinceañeras at $500 USD; and weddings at $1,000 USD. These are starting prices and the final quote depends on scope, duration and location. We quote the same day over WhatsApp, free of charge.
What areas do you cover?
We work in Cancún and across the Riviera Maya: Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and Holbox. There is no travel fee within Cancún; outside the city a distance-based fee applies, quoted upfront and never added at the end.
How long does delivery take?
Property and real estate sessions are delivered in 48 to 72 hours. Events such as quinceañeras take 3 to 4 weeks. Weddings take 4 to 6 weeks, with a sneak-peek selection within 72 hours so you can share something right away. Express delivery is available for an extra fee when the date is tight.
How do you deliver photos and video?
Through a private online gallery where you can view, select and download everything in web and full resolution. The link can be shared with your family, your team or your agency. We do not deliver on USB unless you ask for it.
Do the photos include usage rights?
Yes. All commercial services include usage rights to promote your property, event or brand on your website, rental platforms, social media and digital advertising. The only thing not included is reselling the material to third parties.
Can you fly a drone anywhere in Cancún?
No. Much of the Hotel Zone falls inside the restricted airspace of Cancún International Airport, and protected natural areas require authorization. Before booking we check the exact location and tell you clearly whether we can fly, at what limit, or whether the shot is better relocated.
Do you work in English?
Yes. We work in both Spanish and English, which matters for property owners and couples from the US and Canada booking remotely. Communication, quoting and delivery can all be handled in English.
How do I book a date?
With a deposit that locks the date on the calendar. The balance is due on delivery. We accept cash, bank transfer and card. For weddings and large events we sign a simple agreement that puts scope, date and deliverables in writing.
Vacation rentals & Airbnb
See the service How much does an Airbnb photo shoot in Cancún cost?
A vacation rental photo shoot in Cancún starts at about $150 USD for a one-bedroom apartment and includes 25 to 60 edited photos. Final pricing depends on the number of rooms, whether drone is included and whether you add video. We quote the same day over WhatsApp.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is 48 to 72 business hours after the shoot, through an online gallery you can download everything from. If you need to publish sooner, 24-hour express delivery is available for an extra fee.
Do I need to prepare the property before the shoot?
Yes, and it makes a huge difference. We send a prep checklist covering the essentials: clear surfaces, evenly made beds, folded towels, open curtains, a clean pool and no personal items in frame. We fine-tune details on site.
Are drone shots included?
Drone is quoted separately because it needs permission from the condo or gated community and suitable wind conditions. For beachfront properties or those with a large pool it is well worth it: that is the shot that sets your listing apart.
Can I use the photos on Booking, VRBO and my social media?
Yes. Delivery includes unlimited commercial usage rights to promote your property on any platform, your own website and social media. We only ask that you do not resell them to third parties.
Drone
See the service How much does drone video in Cancún cost?
Drone service in Cancún starts at around $200 USD and includes the flight, edited 4K video and aerial stills. Cost varies with distance (Cancún, Playa del Carmen or Tulum), final video length and whether it is combined with a ground shoot.
Can you fly a drone in the Cancún Hotel Zone?
Much of the Hotel Zone is restricted because of its proximity to Cancún International Airport, and protected natural areas require authorization. Before booking we check the exact location and tell you clearly whether we can fly, at what altitude limit, or whether the shot is better relocated.
What happens if it is windy or raining on the day?
We reschedule at no cost. Flying in strong wind compromises image stability and equipment safety, so we would rather move the date than deliver mediocre footage.
Do you deliver social-media-ready video?
Yes. Along with the horizontal 4K master, we deliver 9:16 vertical cuts paced for Reels, TikTok and Stories at no extra cost.
Yachts & nautical
See the service How much does yacht photo and video in Cancún cost?
Yacht coverage starts at around $300 USD for a four-hour block and includes photography, edited video and drone footage. Pricing depends on charter length, whether it is Cancún or Isla Mujeres, and how many people are on board.
Can the drone fly from the yacht?
Yes. We launch and land from the deck, hand-catching when swell requires it, and only fly in safe wind conditions. Overhead shots of the yacht under way are the ones most used afterwards to sell charters.
What about gear and salt water?
We work with marine-rated protection and clean the equipment after every trip. That is part of the service, not an extra charge, which is why we can get close to the water without babying the camera over the shot.
Is this useful for promoting my charter business?
That is exactly what it is most booked for. We deliver a sales-oriented package: horizontal photos for your website, verticals for Reels and a short video that works as an ad. Commercial usage rights included.
Weddings
See the service How much does a wedding photographer in Cancún cost?
A wedding package in Cancún starts at around $1,000 USD and includes full-day coverage, editing and an online gallery. Pricing rises with video, a second shooter, drone, or travel to Tulum or Holbox. We send closed packages with no surprises.
How far in advance should I book?
Ideally 8 to 12 months out, especially for weddings between November and April, which is high season in the Mexican Caribbean. December dates and long weekends fill first.
How long until we get our wedding photos?
We deliver a sneak peek of 30 to 50 photos within 72 hours so you can share something right away. The full gallery and film are delivered 4 to 6 weeks after the wedding.
Do you travel outside Cancún?
Yes. We cover Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Puerto Morelos, Isla Mujeres, Holbox and Cozumel. Outside Cancún we add a travel fee and, depending on distance, lodging the night before so we arrive rested for the getting-ready coverage.
What if it rains?
It is the Caribbean: it pours and it passes fast. We work with a plan B defined during scouting, weather-protected gear and real experience shooting portraits indoors or in the rain. Some of the best photos we have made came out of a downpour.
Quinceañeras
See the service How much does a quinceañera package in Cancún cost?
A quinceañera package in Cancún starts at around $500 USD and includes a location pre-session plus photo coverage of the event. Adding an edited film, drone or a printed album raises the package; we build the combination around the family budget.
Is the photo session on the same day as the party?
We recommend a separate, earlier day. That gives real time to produce, change wardrobe and use golden hour instead of racing the mass schedule. It also means you can use those photos on invitations or in the entrance video.
How long is event coverage?
Standard coverage is six hours, from getting ready or the mass through the dancing. Extra hours can be booked if the party runs long; they are agreed beforehand, never charged as a surprise at the end.
Do you deliver the waltz and surprise dance video?
Yes. The edited film includes the full waltz and the surprise dance with original audio, plus the event recap. We also deliver a short vertical cut for social media.
Corporate & real estate
See the service How much does a corporate photo shoot in Cancún cost?
A corporate shooting day in Cancún starts at around $250 USD for a half day and includes editing and folder-organized delivery. Team portraits, facilities, product and video are quoted by scope, not per photo.
Do you produce recurring social media content?
Yes, and it is usually the most cost-effective option. A monthly retainer of one shooting day per month produces enough photo and vertical video to feed social channels without repeating. Quoted as a retainer.
Can you photograph my development under construction?
Yes. We cover construction progress with ground and aerial photography, which doubles as documentation for investors. Drone flights are coordinated around local airspace restrictions.
Do the files include usage rights?
Yes, with commercial usage rights for company channels: website, social, digital advertising and your own print material. Full assignment or third-party use is agreed separately.
What do you need to sort out in Cancún?
Tell us the date and the group size and we will send a quote the same day.
